Founders
The founder of Koryo Taekwondo Academy and Koryo Taekwondo Club are Master R Dhanaraj and Master K M Rajendran. Both were National exponents from 1989 Malaysian Dream Team.
RAJENDRAN MUTHUSAMY
PRESIDENT (8th DAN KOREA)
K M Rajendran is a holder of 8th Dan Black Belt Taekwondo Korea. He is a person who has seen it all in the world of Sports as a professional athlete, a coach, and the man behind the development of Malaysian Taekwondo scene. As an athlete, he was the undisputed national taekwondo champion from 1989 – 1993. Subsequent to life as an athlete, he was appointed as the coach for our National Junior Team Coach from 2001 – 2009, during which he guided the team to various international glories. He was also hand-picked by the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) to represent Malaysia at the prestigious 2002 International Olympic Academy Session in Athens, Greece.
His vast experience as an exponents and coach has placed him in the pedestal of honor nationally and internationally. Beside teaching and conducting courses, he is also the Vice President of Taekwondo Malaysia (WTF).
Koryo has made a quantum leap with his leadership and commitment in making KORYO the BEST NATIONAL PREMIER CLUB in Taekwondo Malaysia (WTF) from 2014 to 2019.
